TAKING RISKS ON YOUR ROAD TO INNER PEACE

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I . . . I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."
— Robert Frost"

The dangers of life are infinite, and among them is safety."
— Goethe"

"Do you want to be safe and good, or do you want to take a chance and be great?"

— Jimmy Johnson Dallas Cowboys Coach

Writing the book The Inner Peace Diet was a huge risk for us. Will people like our book? Will they actually buy it? Sharing some long held secret restaurant recipes was especially difficult for Chef Hugo. You can live your entire life following the path of least resistance. A life full of minimal risk, little unknowns, and no discomfort offers us an illusion of great safety. By following the herd and conforming to societal standards we often are rewarded with great praise. By following our heart's desires and dreams we are often met with massive criticism. However, most people often find inner peace in precisely this way. What risk would you take right now if you had the nerve?
